By accessing and using Expiry Keeper ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Expiry Keeper, a document expiry tracking and management service operated as a sole proprietorship. By using our Service, you agree to these terms in full.

Expiry Keeper provides a platform for tracking and managing document expiration dates. Our Service includes:

• Calendar and list view visualizations
• Category organization and management
• Email notifications for upcoming expiries

• Both free and premium subscription tiers

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

4.2 Subscription Fees

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). You authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees at the beginning of each billing period.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your premium subscription at any time. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our subscription fees. Any price changes will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. User Content and Data

You retain all rights to the data and information you submit to Expiry Keeper ("Your Data"). By submitting Your Data, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.2 Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of Your Data. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from inaccurate or incomplete data you provide.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload or store any content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable

6. Service Availability and Limitations

6.2 No Liability for Missed Notifications

Expiry Keeper is provided as a convenience tool to help you track document expiration dates. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from missed notifications, system failures, or your failure to renew documents on time. You remain solely responsible for managing your documents and meeting all deadlines.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Expiry Keeper and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our prior written permission.

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by You

8.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or prolonged inactivity.

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Your Data will be retained for 90 days after account deletion, after which it will be permanently deleted from our systems.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EXPIRY KEEPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Expiry Keeper from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
